River collection, Olga the Princess, 9"x 12", Acrylic on paper, 1998
6/3/19 Photo shoot and documentation of 55 works of art at the storage location. Also collected sketchbooks and black folio for photo shoot at our studio.
Special thanks to Frederika Leet for her volunteer work making the shoot possible. Thanks also to John Solum, Lisa's friend who has been looking after her work.
5/6/2019 Visited storage site in Norwalk CT.
There is no inventory list. No biography. No catalog. The entire collection and boxes of old photos, letters, original art and clippings were hurriedly cleared out of the house and placed in storage. After 5 years of paying for storage, approximately $30,000 the owners are seeking an exit strategy to end the expense. Long term storage is a problem all estate collections face. We are in the process of documentation so we can tell Lisa's story. We are also looking at possible storage solutions.
