Glen River

River is an artist who followed his own unique creative path. He was Born June 25, 1944 in Washington D.C. He is an American painter, draftsman, printmaker, and photographer. As well as his visual art his creative disciplines include: Poet, Author, Singer/Songwriter, Composer, Techno-Arts Reseacher, Learning Process Developer, and Movie maker.

A recluse, River remained out of sight for most of his career. He is considered an influential artist effecting visual artists, poets, and musicians. An instinct for documentation and respect for the creative process prompted him to make interviews with artists. This and an undesstsnding of art loss eventually lead to the creation of "The Museum".
